Why heat pumps?

Heat pumps are highly efficient heating and cooling systems that move hot air from one place to another.
They've been around for 50+ years and are now the preferred heating and cooling system in Asia and much of Europe.
If you have a refrigerator, you already have heat pump technology in your home.
Ductless heating systems can save 25-50% in heating costs over traditional electric systems. They can save even more compared to oil heating systems.
What are frontline communities?
Frontline communities refer to communities that are disproportionately impacted by climate change, who are Black, Indigenous, people of color, immigrant, refugee, or have low-income, have pre-existing health conditions, are unsheltered, or work outdoors.
