Parks Citation Appeals

Have you received a Parks Citation and would like to appeal? Please read these instructions carefully and fill out the form below.

Appeals must be received by King County Parks and Recreation Division within 24 days from the citation. There is a $250 non-refundable fee charged for an appeal.

If you do not want to appeal a citation, you can pay it on this webpage. 

NOTE: In accordance with KCC 20.22.080, the appeal must be timely and must state with specificity the decision being appealed and the reason why the appeal decision should be reversed or modified. FAILURE TO MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS MAY RESULT IN THE APPEAL BEING DISMISSED BY THE HEARING EXAMINER.
