The Human Services Bus Ticket Program (HSBTP) provides subsidized bus tickets to eligible human service agencies serving persons who are experiencing homelessness and/or have low income.

Agencies can apply for the program through an annual Request for Proposal (RFP) process administered by the Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS). Agencies awarded an allocation pay approximately 10 percent of the value of the tickets, with King County Metro covering the remaining 90 percent of the ticket value.

The 2024 RFP for the 2025 Human Services Bus Ticket Program is open from November 20, 2023 and closes 2pm November 26, 2024

Through a competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) process, the King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) and King County Metro (Metro) are making available up to $4 million in face value (up to $400,000 in allotment value) for the 2023 Human Services Bus Ticket Program (HSBTP). This RFP process is administered via ZoomGrants, an online tool.

Click here to apply on or after October 25th, 2024
