Event description
The Maple Valley Earth Day Fair started in 2024 to celebrate Earth Month in April by promoting environmental practices and activities for kids and adults, and to raise general awareness of local sustainability resources. This is a fun and free interactive event to bring our community together to protect the nature around us. Join the community for another day of celebrating all things green and sustainable - and find some resources to protect your health and the environment, too!
FREE Household Hazardous Waste Dropoff
Located in the main Lake Wilderness Park Parking Lot

**To allow for more households to drop off materials, all containers must be smaller than 1 gallon or less at this event.
FREE lead testing for common household items
Located at the King County Hazardous Waste booth within the Earth Day Fair
Items to bring for lead testing: cookware, jewelry, pottery/ceramics, metal/plastic toys
**Each household can bring up to 3 items for testing**
