Adult health care clinic

Services include medical care when you are sick, care for on-going problems and chronic diseases, check-ups and screenings for hidden diseases like cancer, and vaccination against disease. Family Medicine doctors and Nurse Practitioners take care of adults. Also offering Suboxone/buprenorphine treatment for adults with Opioid Use Disorder.

Bupe (aka Suboxone or buprenorphine) Pathways

We treat adults with Opioid Use Disorder in our low barrier buprenorphine clinic, with fewer rules than traditional bupe care settings. Child health care clinic (Pediatrics)

Services include medical care when your child is sick, well child check-ups, immunizations (shots against disease); checks on your child's health, growth and development. Children receive care from pediatricians.

Children with Special Health Care Needs

Assist in planning and obtaining medical care and other resources for the child with a disability or a condition that may prevent normal growth and development.

Residents and faculty from Swedish Family Practice Residency program and Advanced Registered Nurses.

Kids Plus

Kids Plus is a multidisciplinary team of nurses and social workers, addressing the health and social needs of children and families experiencing homelessness. We specialize in medical case management, yet we are able to address a host of needs that impact the health and well-being of children. Learn more about Kids Plus.

Maternity screening

Office visit with a nurse to verify pregnancy, determine medical risk and financial status, and refer to appropriate prenatal services, including to DSHS for medical coupons, health care provider.

Maternity Support Services (MSS) and Infant Case Management (ICM)

  • MSS services include assessment, education and referrals through a team approach to support a healthy pregnancy. MSS providers also help pregnant women find health insurance, local doctors or midwives and other community resources.
  • The ICM program provides support and referral to needed medical, social, educational and other resources in the local community to help babies and families thrive. Care team members include Public Health Nurses, Nutritionists, Social Worker and Community Health Worker.

Needle Exchange

The Needle Exchange at Downtown Public Health provides new, sterile syringes and clean injection equipment in exchange for used, contaminated syringes. They also get drug users into drug treatment and health care. Learn more about the Needle Exchange program.

Nurse-Family Partnership

Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) is a community health program that helps transform the lives of young, low-income mothers pregnant with their first child. The program partners mothers with registered nurses from pregnancy through a child's second birthday, allowing nurses to deliver the support first-time moms need to have a healthy pregnancy, become knowledgeable and responsible parents, and provide their babies with the best possible start in life. ORCA-LIFT cards

The ORCA card is the easiest, healthiest way to pay your transit fares in the Puget Sound region. Pregnancy testing

Prenatal care during pregnancy

Comprehensive OB care for pregnant women. Services include medical care during pregnancy, delivery, and post-partum care after delivery. Family Medicine doctors take care of pregnant women.

Refugee screening

Provides health screening and interpretation for newly arrived refugees.

Women, Infants and Children nutrition program (WIC)

WIC is a supplemental food program for women who are pregnant or breast feeding, infants and children. Days available: Tuesdays. Please call us for specific times available at 206-477-8300.
