Upthegrove Issues Statement on Senseless Killing of Metro Driver

King County Councilmember Dave Upthegrove released the following statement concerning the senseless act of violence that took the life of a Metro bus operator earlier today.

“I am sending my deepest sympathies to the family, friends, and coworkers of Shawn Yim,” said King County Council Chair Dave Upthegrove. “Our bus operators are best in the nation and deserve better. We cannot and will not rest until the perpetrator is caught and brought to justice.”
