Flares disposal

  Accepted at hazardous waste collection sites

Roadside and marine flares can be taken to Algona, Factoria, North Seattle, and South Seattle hazardous waste collection facilities.

There is a limit of 10 road or marine flares per visit. No marine flares are accepted at the traveling Wastemobile. Once the marine flare container is full, no additional marine flares can be accepted.

• All containers must be 5 gallons or less
• Total waste limit: 50 gallons per trip
