Earth Deserves More than a Day: Community Product Testing Event for Lead - Skyway 

Event description

Join the Haz Waste Program's Residential Services Team for a free product testing event to help protect families from lead exposure. Get your household products tested and learn about common lead exposure sources and keeping your family safe! 

Community members can bring up to three (3) household items, such as cookware, metal and plastic toys, jewelry, and pottery/ceramics, to be tested for lead at no cost.

Lead exposure can have serious health effects, especially among children, impacting their development, learning, and overall well-being. This event aims to raise awareness, provide up-to-date information on exposure risks, and promote safer alternatives.

This event is part of the Earth Deserves More than a Day environmental justice celebration from April 21-26.
