Intersection at B1 closing March 17
Work expected to take 45 days
Starting March 17, the taxiway B1 intersection on the west side of King County International Airport-Boeing Field will close for electrical work. The airport will install runway in-pavement guard lights at the intersection to enhance airfield safety. B1 will be closed for the duration of the project, estimated to be about 45 days. Installation work will take place at night.
During this closure, operators will be asked to depart from either A1 or B3. For larger operators that are unable to utilize either of these options, please advise the tower that you will need to back taxi for B3.
