Comments welcomed on Part 150 Noise Compatibility Program draft
Public hearing on January 22, 2026
King County International Airport-Boeing Field (KCIA) invites interested parties to provide comments on the KCIA Part 150 Study Draft Noise Compatibility Program (NCP) at a public hearing on January 22, 2026. The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. at the KCIA Flight Service Station, 6526 Ellis Ave. S. in Seattle. The draft NCP is available online for review and comment at KCIAPlanning.com. Comments on the draft NCP will be accepted through 5 p.m. Pacific time on February 22, 2026.
At the hearing, attendees will be able to:
- Learn about the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 150 Study process.
- Review the KCIA draft NCP which identifies actions to reduce the effects of airport noise and promote compatible land use near KCIA.
- Provide comments on the draft NCP. KCIA will only accept comments that specifically address the Part 150 Study and the NCP. Comments outside of these topics will not be accepted.

Free parking is available in the building's parking lot and on nearby streets. A King County Metro bus stop at Ellis Avenue South and South Warsaw Street, across from the Flight Service Station, serves the 124 and 60 routes.
