NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan King County Council (the Council) held a public hearing on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, beginning at 1:30 p.m. to consider adoption of Proposed Ordinance 2024-0217 (Ordinance 19872), an ordinance revising permit review processes. The Council adopted this Ordinance at the Tuesday, December 3, 2024, meeting.

SUMMARY:

The Ordinance adopts regulations that modify the County's permit review process in multiple ways, including preapplication conference requirements, application submittal and screening requirements, notice of application, and timelines for final decisions.
