NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

2025-0038

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Notice of Intention has been filed with the King County Council relating to the annexation of approximately 1.1 acres of land into the Northeast Sammamish sewer and water district, known as the Parklane Annexation, for the purpose of sewer service. The public hearing will be held at the King County Courthouse, 516 3rd Avenue, Room 1001, Seattle, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.; remote public testimony on Zoom will also be accepted. Written public testimony will be accepted from 9 a.m. on January 28, 2025, through 10 a.m. on February 11, 2025, by sending such public testimony to clerk.council@kingcounty.gov. Please include the legislation number and related agenda item in the subject line. A description of the proposed area to be annexed is as follows:

The West 160 feet of the East 510 feet of the North 331.825 feet measured along the Easterly line of the East half of the West half of the Southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 25 North, Range 6 East, W.M. King County Washington.

Including the North 30 feet heretofore conveyed to King County of County roads;

Being known as a portion of Tract 16, Burke and Farrars Kirkland Addition to the City of Seattle, Division No. 17, according to the unrecorded plat thereof.

Final Action:

Prior to final action, Councilmembers may offer amendments for consideration by the Council. Persons wishing to testify on the Proposed Ordinance should attend the public hearing in person or remotely on February 11, 2025, or provide testimony in writing prior to the hearing.
