Councilmember Lambert hosts town hall event in Snoqualmie
Summary
Story
Metropolitan King County Councilmember Kathy Lambert announced she will host a “listening tour” with a series of community town hall meetings to talk personally with residents of Council District 3. The first event will be in Snoqualmie on Saturday, July 17.“One of my priorities is to connect with people one-on-one, and to listen to their concerns first-hand,” Councilmember Lambert said. “I would like to invite anyone interested to stop by and give me their input and comments on local issues and the county’s budget priorities, as well as get more information. I value and want to hear the concerns of residents to help the Council make the best decisions for our communities.”
The Snoqualmie meeting will be conducted at Snoqualmie City Hall, 38624 SE River St. in Snoqualmie on Saturday, July 17, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Current county issues that may be of interest include the projected ongoing budget shortfalls, funding for the criminal justice system, and many other policies and services such as solid waste disposal policy.
Councilmember Lambert will be available to listen to concerns and answer questions on a drop-in basis, or call to make a specific appointment. Information about county programs and services will be available. Those who cannot make one of those dates are invited to contact Councilmember Lambert by phone or e-mail at (206) 296-1003 or kathy.lambert@kingcounty.gov.
