The Metropolitan King County Council’s Budget and Fiscal Management Committee will hold its final special evening meeting to gather public input on the County Executive’s proposed 2014 King County Budget in the King County Council Chambers:

This meeting is the last of the night meetings where the the public will be able to present their priorities to the members of the Budget Committee. Committee members have heard from more than 75 people at meetings held in Bellevue, Kent and North Bend.
“We’ve heard from diverse constituencies at three previous special meetings. We’ve heard calls for more human services funding and concerns about the impact of cuts to the Roads Division. This feedback is vital in our budget deliberations, and I look forward to the fourth meeting,” said Councilmember Joe McDermott who chairs the Budget and Fiscal Management Committee. “I want to thank everyone who took time out of their busy lives to get involved.”
