Councilmember Gossett responds to today’s State of the County Address

Metropolitan King County Councilmember Larry Gossett released this statement in regards to today’s state of the County Address from County Executive Dow Constantine:

“The original plan for Link Light Rail included a stop along Martin Luther King, Jr Way that was vital to the businesses and residents in my district, a stop that was removed when construction of the line began.

“Community activists have been vocal in saying their support of any light rail expansion would hinge on the return of the light rail station at S. Graham St.

“I am encouraged that Executive Constantine understands the importance of this stop and has made it part of the proposed ST3 plan.”
