King County Community Service Area Open House

Summary

Meet Councilmember Kathy Lambert and discuss issues affecting Snoqualmie Valley

Story

Unincorporated residents of the Snoqualmie Valley are invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, April 12 sponsored by the King County Community Service Area (CSA) program.

Wednesday, April 12
7:00-9:00 p.m.
Chief Kanim Middle School
32627 SE Redmond Fall City Road, Fall City

At this open house they can meet their Metropolitan King County Councilmember Kathy Lambert, King County Sheriff John Urquhart, and representatives from the Executive’s Office. All will be available with staff to talk about county programs and services.

“I encourage all residents of the Valley to attend this informative meeting”, said Councilmember Lambert. “This is the time to get more information and answers to any questions about any local government issues.”

King County is the local government for the unincorporated areas of the county. In 2010, the King County Council sought a new approach for engaging with residents in unincorporated areas. With guidance from the County’s Strategic Plan, the County established a new framework for public engagement in unincorporated areas and created seven Community Service Areas to represent all unincorporated residents and communities.

More information about the open house and the grants is available on the CSA website https://www.kingcounty.gov/initiatives/community-service-areas/about.aspx or by contacting Alan Painter, CSA Program Manager at 206.477.4521 or alan.painter@kingcounty.gov.
