Dunn Welcomes Crowd to the 156th Annual King County Fair
Today Metropolitan King County Vice Chair Reagan Dunn welcomed fairgoers to the King County Fair – the longest-running county fair west of the Mississippi. As part of a long-standing Fair tradition, Dunn and Enumclaw Mayor Jan Molinaro gave tickets to the first two children in line for the fair.

Greater Maple Valley Organizations Awarded Funding from County
Metropolitan King County Council Vice Chair Reagan Dunn announced that four local organizations across the Greater Maple Valley area will receive a financial boost from King County to support their work in the community. This funding was appropriated directly to the winning organizations through King County’s supplemental omnibus budget, which the King Council approved on June 26th.

The King County Fair is Back - Festivities Start July 18
The King County fair officially opens on Thursday, July 18th with the traditional crowning of “King Critter,” as Metropolitan King County Vice Chair Reagan Dunn announces the winning critter alongside Enumclaw Mayor Jan Molinaro.

$100 Million Allocated for Federal Way Light Rail Extension
Today the Federal Transportation Agency (FTA) allocated $100 million in federal funding through the FTA’s Capital Investment Grants (CIG) Program for the Federal Way Light Rail Extension. The highly anticipated project is a 7.8-mile light train extension from the Angle Lake station through the cities of SeaTac, Des Moines, Kent and Federal Way and includes three stations.

Youth Sports, Veterans and Health Services in Enumclaw Awarded Funding from King County

Dunn Holds Four Town Hall Meetings in East and South King County
King County Council Vice Chair Reagan Dunn recently co-hosted four town hall meetings with the King County Department of Local Services, drawing together residents of unincorporated Fairwood, Ravensdale, Hobart, East Renton Highlands, the Enumclaw Plateau, and the greater Maple Valley area.

County Councils Appoint Stanford to State Senate and Duerr to State House of Representatives
The King County and Snohomish County councils have selected Derek Stanford to serve as the new State Senator in Legislative District 1. Because Stanford was serving in the State House of Representatives, he resigned that post, creating an immediate vacancy in that body. The councils then chose Davina Duerr to fill the open House seat.

Dunn Appoints Commissioners to Three Vacant Drainage District Seats Following Concerns of Fraud and Illegitimate Election Practices
Metropolitan King County Council Vice Chair Reagan Dunn charted a new path forward for the residents of Drainage District #5 following the King County Council’s unanimous approval of Mark Van Wieringen, David Ballestrasse, and Alan Predmore as new commissioners.
