“I’m looking forward to working with Julie Timm as we take on Sound Transit’s big challenges and even bigger opportunities to build great transit across the Central Puget Sound Region. It’s no small task to lead an agency that is simultaneously constructing and operating the nation’s largest and fastest growing transit system. I believe Julie will excel in this role.

“Julie’s experience in operations, leadership, and her passion to deliver great transit solutions to diverse communities will serve both the agency staff and Sound Transit’s growing ridership well.
