Manufactured Home Grants

Up to $11,000 is available for repairs of manufactured homes either in a manufactured home park or on leased land. Examples of repairs include roof repair and replacement, replacement of damaged or dangerous electrical systems, repair of plumbing leaks, and hot water heater replacement.

Eligibility

  • Owner lives in manufactured home
  • Have household income at or below 50% of King County median
  • Do not have more than $20,000 in assets except for home equity
  • People with a disability are exempt from the asset limit

Emergency Grants

Up to $9,000 to address urgent or life-threatening conditions in your home. 

Eligibility

  • Own and live in home
  • Have household income at or below 50% of King County median
  • Do not have more than $20,000 in assets, except for home equity
  • People with a disability are exempt from the asset limit

Home Accessibility Modification Grants for Renters

Up to $11,000 is available to renters for things like wheelchair ramps, accessible shower conversions, door widening, audio smoke alarms, grab bars and transfer lifts.

Eligibility

  • Household member has a disability
  • Household income at or below 80% of King County median
  • Rental unit must meet HUD affordability guidelines

How to apply

Call 206-263-9095 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. To expedite the application process, you can have the following documents and information available for your intake appointment: 

  • Your most recent IRS Tax Return
  • Copies of 2 most recent paystubs
  • Recent Social Security award letter (if applicable)
  • Space rent agreement
  • 2 most recent bank statements from all bank accounts
  • Documentation of any additional income
  • Manufactured home title
  • Copy of Declaration page of current homeowner's insurance
  • Copies of all investment statements, including any retirement accounts, pensions, or annuties
  • If you are a veteran, documentation of service
