Sending Site Application Form and Resources

TDR sending site application form

The first step in the enrollment process is to complete a Sending Site Application. Download the form below and submit completed form and supporting documents to the TDR Program:

Application fee

For the current application fee, please refer to King County Code 27.10.170 and the Fee Guides on the Department of Local Services - Permitting Division website (see Guide 08, under Zoning for Transfer of Development Rights sending site certification).

Forest and farm plans

If your sending site is in a Forest Production District, you will need to complete a Forest Stewardship Plan. King County can help with development of this plan. Contact Wendy Sammarco for assistance in completing a forest stewardship plan.

Sending sites in Agricultural Production Districts will require a current Farm Plan. The King Conservation District can help you develop a farm plan.
