"King County stepped up. Our cities stepped up. The Governor and the State House stepped up. The Senate Democratic caucus stepped up. But those who held themselves out as leaders of the Senate failed.

“I am deeply disappointed at the refusal of the State Senate ‘majority caucus’ to do its job on transportation, yet I remain fully committed to creating a transportation solution.
