We have entered into an agreement with CenturyLink/Qwest to provide internet service. Please review CenturyLink's Acceptable Use Policy prior to using King County's wireless network.

Security and privacy
There is none. The wireless access you are using is not secure. Any person within range of the access point can intercept the data in transit. King County does not recommend using this network for the transfer of sensitive data, such as credit card data or bank account data, even while using SSL encryption built into your browser. King County is not responsible for intercepted data or any consequences thereof.
Wireless usage is subject to the normal threats of the Internet. King County is not responsible for exposure to a virus, hacking, or any other problems associated with Internet usage. We strongly suggest using a personal firewall.
Availability
Wireless is offered as a convenience, King County does not guarantee availability.
By using King County's wireless network, you agree that:
- You have read and understand CenturyLink/Qwest's "Acceptable Use Policy" and I agree to abide by this policy.
- You agree to release and hold King County harmless for any loss, damage or liability that may arise out of wireless access.
