Rhonda Lewis

Rhonda Lewis brings extensive local government knowledge and experience to the District 2 team. Her public service career began in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she worked in the office of the City Clerk and the Office of the City Manager. Upon relocating to Seattle, she worked for a large multi-national technology company before returning to public service. She served many roles with the City of Tukwila, culminating there as City Administrator, before joining King County as Chief of Operations for King County Executive Dow Constantine. Rhonda was an inaugural member of the Councilmember Girmay Zahilay D2 team. Rhonda is an alumna of the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Business Education and a Master of Business Administration degree. In addition to serving as Chief of Staff, Rhonda’s focus areas are:

Graciela Nunez Pargas

Graciela Nunez Pargas brings her extensive community organizing and advocacy experience to her role on the King County District 2 staff. She has served as a community organizer for electoral campaigns, as well as a union organizer for Teamsters Local 174 and Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 775. Graciela interned with the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO and with the Washington DC Office of Senator Maria Cantwell. She has also worked as a legal assistant, aiding asylum seekers and undocumented immigrants who were victims of crimes. Graciela’s District 2 assignments include:

Rosa Mai

Rosa Mai is a second-generation Vietnamese American and proud lifelong resident of South King County. Previously, she worked in public service in a number of different offices, including for Washington State Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs, State Senator Joe Nguyen, Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, and the state Attorney General’s Office, carving out her place in the political realm. She serves as Communications Director to Councilmember Zahilay, and also staffs him on transportation, environmental justice, and technology issues.
Rosa holds a B.A. in Political Science and in Law, Societies, and Justice from the University of Washington. In her free time, she likes to overthink popular media and pop culture. Her workstreams include:

Adrian, a Bay Area native, cultivated a passion for public service through internships in local and state government, including a summer with Councilmember Zahilay. After graduating from Stanford with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a minor in Political Science, Adrian relocated to Seattle and now works on:

Fedilla Kassa

Fedilla is a second-generation American of East African descent, born and raised in West Seattle. She graduated from Interlake High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Law, Society, and Justice from the University of Washington in Seattle, with double minors in Leadership and Human Rights. Dedicated to her local community, Fedilla actively participates in various advocacy campaigns. She holds the position of chair for the Tigray Professional Network Pacific Northwest Chapter and serves as president of Nadia's Promise, a charitable organization founded in memory of her late sister. In her role as an intern in the District 2 office, Fedilla focuses on a broad range of issues including::
