King County Transit Advisory Commission Seeks Members from District 7

The King County Transit Advisory Commission is looking for two individuals from South King County who are interested in serving on the commission. District 7 encompasses Federal Way, Auburn, Pacific and Algona and is represented by King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer.
“The Transit Advisory Commission works to improve transit services, planning and programs by advising Metro’s staff members, the King County Executive and Council, as well as local jurisdictions, and subarea transportation boards concerning policy issues,” said Councilmember von Reichbauer. “By serving on this Committee, our citizens in South King County will have the opportunity to continue this work and make sure that our region has strong representation on the unique issues facing the south sound.”
Individuals residing in King County District 7 are invited to apply. Commission members include residents, businesses, and other stakeholders concerned about transit service in the county. Meetings are held monthly from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month in downtown Seattle.
