Proposed precinct alterations
Proposed revisions to voting precincts are available for public review and comment opens on January 15, 2025. The deadline to submit your comment was January 24 at 4:30 p.m. This package is currently under consideration by the King County Council.
Proposed precinct alterations
State law (RCW 29A.16.040, RCW 29A.16.050) requires that precinct boundaries be adjusted in response to:
- redistricting efforts
- limitations on the maximum number of voters
- annexations to cities and
- other election administration constraints
King County Elections is required to submit these changes to the county legislative authority for adoption (KCC 1.12.010).
