Summary

Public Health—Seattle & King County (PHSKC) will fund up to four agencies to establish new non-clinical School-Based Integrated Behavioral Health Care Coordinator (BHC) roles in up to 21 middle and high schools with school-based health centers (SBHC) in Seattle (see Attachment 4: Proposed Sites). Funding from this investment will embed 1.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) BHC at each school/school-based health center site (plus supervision) to provide coordination and partnership to increase navigation to behavioral health care supports for students during the school year (September-June). Additional funding may be available from the City of Seattle to selected applicants for expansion of this work into the summer months.

Pre-application conference

Public Health—Seattle & King County conducted a pre-application conference for this RFA on November 7, 2024. This conference was an opportunity for interested organizations to hear more about the program and to ask questions about the program and/or the application process.
