Green Jobs

Metro is expanding opportunities for green career paths and green skills training! We're focused on training current Metro employees and recruiting community members who are most impacted by climate change and economic and social inequity.

With the transition of Metro's fleet to zero-emissions by 2035 and the expansion of Link light rail, workforce expansion is necessary. We are committed to building and operating our transportation system with a team that reflects the diversity of King County.
