Board of Ethics

Regular meetings of the Board of Ethics are held quarterly. The board is authorized by King County Code to implement forms, administrative processes, and operational procedures necessary to comply with the provisions of the Code of Ethics. The Board of Ethics determined that procedures governing the conduct of meetings of the board are necessary and in the public interest.

  2. Any potential amendments to the final witness disclosures previously filed by the parties.
  3. Any potential amendments to the final exhibits lists previously filed by the parties.
  4. The specific Ethics Code sections (or parts thereof) upon which King County intends to rely.
  5. Whether any further briefing is required.
  6. Appellant's petition for review.
  7. Appellant's renewed request to have the hearing in person.
  8. As the hearing is to be conducted via Teams/Zoom, how to manage the display of exhibits and examination of witnesses.
  9. Proposed hearing schedule:
    • 9 a.m. - noon
      • 10:45 - 11 a.m. break
    • 1 - 4:30 p.m.
      • 2:45 - 3 p.m. break
  10. Whether the parties should meet and confer regarding any admissions and/or stipulations which could expedite the hearing, particularly regarding to the number of proposed witnesses and the limited time for the hearing.
