Internal Investigations Unit (IIU) completed investigation reports and complaint data/dashboard

Below are reports of completed internal investigations from the King County Sheriff’s Office Internal Investigations Unit (IIU).

These “Completed IIU Investigation Reports” reflect closed IIU investigations from previous months. The first posting was the December 2014 report.

The reports only highlight investigations deemed “major” in scope. In other words, minor performance matters, which are typically handled at the worksite by an employee’s supervisor, are not included.

Also of note is that the discipline listed in the reports, in some cases, represents “progressive” discipline, which includes prior work history.   This means that similar incidents aren’t always comparable between employees.
